Creating Hope with Canine Partners

Why Donating Is Good for You...

Can a simple donation really make a difference in a person’s life! You bet! Ask any of our grateful service dog recipients (See Testimonials), they will tell you it has been a LIFE CHANGER!

Here are 9 reasons why donating is good-

1. Experience More Pleasure Donating money simply makes you feel better, which is something we can all benefit from.

2. Help Others in Need When you donate your money, you help others who need it.

3. Get a Tax Deduction If you give to an IRS-approved charity, you can write off donations on your tax return. Donating your cash is a great way to reduce the amount of money you send off to Uncle Sam, and for a good cause, to boot.

4. Bring More Meaning to Your Life Any donation makes an impact! and can infuse your everyday life with more meaning. If you've been stuck in a rut, whether personally or professionally, sometimes the simple act of donating cash can do the trick and reinvigorate your life.

5. Promote Generosity in Your Children When your kids see you donating money, they're much more likely to adopt a giving mindset as they grow up.

6. Motivate Friends and Family By giving, you can stroke passions in the folks around you, which is a very positive and tangible effect of your own giving.

7. Realize that Every Little Bit Helps Dollars add up and they all make a difference!

8. Improve Personal Money Management If you set a scheduled $100 donation each month , that can motivate you to be more attentive to your own finances. AND, see next section below to see if your company will match your donation!

9. Give, If You Can't Volunteer This might not necessarily be a positive effect of charitable giving, but if you're too busy to volunteer or can’t imagine being a puppy parent, then giving money is the perfect workaround. Writing out a check is a simple way to show you're willing to help others in any way you can.

Here's Your Chance to Make a Difference!

MAKE A DONATION

  • Donate Now - Any amount will make a difference for our dogs and the recipients of these amazing dogs. Click on the PAW...

  • Matching Donations by your Employer - Your company may very well be one of the MANY companies that matches employee donations which doubles your donation. Check if your company will match your donation. Did you know that more than 65% of Fortune 500 companies offer matching gift or volunteer grant programs, and countless smaller companies have followed suit. Sample Article: Employee Giving Programs 11 Some companies have gotten creative with their corporate giving, offering higher matches to organizations in a specific sector (educational, cultural, environmental, etc.) or even matching funds raised by employees in peer-to-peer campaigns. A few examples of these programs include: * Verizon provides $750 grants for 50 volunteer hours and matches up to $5,000 annually * IBM provides $1,000 grants to nonprofits where an employee has volunteered for 40 hours. They also match up to $5,000 annually for current employees or retirees. See link at top of this page.

  • Will it to Us - Name Canine Guardians as a beneficiary in your Will - Many people don’t know it, but you can donate to a charity or nonprofit organization by naming them as a beneficiary in your will. These bequests to charity are often called planned or legacy gifts. And they’re a meaningful, effective way to create a lasting legacy, both for yourself and for causes that are closest to your heart.
Many people choose to leave money to a charity in their will, but you can give any of your assets to a nonprofit. This includes:
  • Financial assets, like cash, stocks, and bonds
  • Real estate (you can even donate your house to charity!)
  • Personal property, like your vehicle, jewelry, or artwork
  • You can also name a charity as the beneficiary of a non-probate asset, like your life insurance policy, retirement account, or IRA.

  • FACEBOOK - Do a Birthday Fundraiser on FACEBOOK and raise money for Canine Guardians. It’s very easy to do. (We suggest asking for $400 for every 200 “friends” you have on FB). Generally, FB suggests this as your birthday approaches.

  • PAY PAL / EBAY -We are a PayPal Giving Fund and Ebay for Charities affiliate. You can make us Your Charity if you Buy or Sell on Ebay. Click Here for instructions.

  • Honor Someone - A lovely gesture is to make a donation IN MEMORY OF a loved one or service dog or your personal pet. If you would like to do that, we will send a beautiful card stating your gift that you can give the recipient and post a photo and brief description or testimony to your loved one (that you provide.) Email us with instructions.

  • IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER - Make an IRA Charitable Rollover to Canine Guardians
What is an IRA Charitable Rollover?
If you are age 70 ½ or older (effective this year 72 or older), you can make a gift from your IRA (traditional or Roth) to support Canine Guardians. This strategy works whether you itemize or not.
Please consult with your tax advisor for the benefits of making an IRA Charitable Rollover.

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Become a Guardian Angel

Sponsorship is a continual donation either monthly or annually and does not need to be a huge amount of money, just money we can count on.
